We cannot recommend Lucien enough. He had a great style of engagement and teaching for my 13 year old son – and was a great help with building both his skills and confidence in Maths. He was also a pleasure to work with in general, e.g., in communications, follow-up, etc. We will definitely be back!

Lucien provided home schooling mentorship to our son for one school term and then ongoing weekly support for 18 months once our son returned to school. Our son is a highly gifted student, so required extensive enrichment, which Lucien was able to provide, making sure to be led by what our son’s needs were both from the school curriculum and his own interests outside of school. Lucien is a very good teacher, as he firstly respects both the specific learning needs and the emotional intelligence of his students. He is brilliant at bringing out the best in his students, with a drive to become independent learners. Just recently our son said he didn’t require Lucien’s support anymore, as he feels completely self-directed. This is a testament to Lucien’s mentorship and we are so grateful for getting him to this point, so he is confident and continues to be inspired to keep learning.

Was really struggling with 3unit maths, but ended up doing really well, mostly thanks to Lucien’s tutoring. He explained concepts really well, but was also more then willing to explain it again in a different way, as many times as was needed.
